The Yaccob family (mother, Genet, son of Daniel and Ruth's daughter) is pleased to welcome you into their restaurant - Ambiente Africa Restaurant. We come from Eritrea by the Red Sea and would like to take you on a culinary trip across the African continent. Here we present you with specialties from our country, and from North, South and West Africa. Even some exotic meats are available. Suitable for our kitchen, you can even experience authentically traditional "Savanna" African Art - with colorful cushions in a warm environment of hand-embroidered goat skins and carved wooden figures. Our spacious rooms can accommodate about 100 guests in warm weather you can also outside our dishes to enjoy.
Serve with the spicy cooked traditional dishes of various meats and African scented butter we ingera (soft millet flat bread), couscous, gari (mashed cassava root) , rice and sweet potatoes. Also for vegetarians and fish lovers, our extensive menu a wide selection. Our special attractions we include exotic dishes of crocodile, zebra, antelope, oryx, kudu, Phyton (in advance) and ostrich meat. Connect the culinary delights with fine South African wines and close off the evening with a traditional African coffee ceremony, or an exclusive rum (Dzama) from Madagascar. For special occasions we offer a buffet (minimum 25 people) or a catering service (minimum 50 people ) to. We will also provide gift vouchers for our restaurant.
