About us

Mulugeta Abate opened Pan Africa Cafe on First Avenue between Pike and Pine in September 2003. Ethiopian dishes like Doro Wott are served in this cafe. It consists of spicy chicken in a red sauce served with Injera, a traditional bread that is spongy and looks like a pancake. Doro Alicha is curry chicken. Piri piri chicken, representative of Mozambique, is marinated with red chile peppers. Lentils, split pea, greens, beans and carrots are among the available vegetarian fare.
